[it]epilogo finale della mostra AMNIOS, realizzata circa un mese fa.
nel mentre tra l’altro abbiamo realizzato un filmato http://video.corriere.it/?vxSiteId=404a0ad6-6216-4e10-abfe-f4f6959487fd&vxChannel=tuttiivideo&vxClipId=2524_26623040-5f31-11de-bd53-00144f02aabc&vxBitrate=300 che racconta com’era l’istallazione della mostra.
faccio un riepilogo veloce per chi non c’era o s’è perso dei pezzi:
nove fotografie di una modella che passa dal buio alla luce, esposte in una stanza completamente rivestita di teli neri e al buio. ai visitatori veniva dato prima di entrare una pila elettrica per illuminare le mie fotografie, facendo passare quindi la modella dalla luce al buio, rifacendo quindi sia il percorso della modella stessa e sia il mio percorso fotografico, che di per sè è far passare dal buio alla luce la realtà.

tra l’altro ho scoperto solo da pochissimo una cosa che proprio non sapevo: le chiese cattoliche sono costruite nella maggior parte dei casi rivolte ad ovest, in maniera che chi entra passi dalle tenebre del mondo (l’ovest) alla luce dell’altare (l’est). (perdonatemi l’iconoclastia…)

insomma il tutto voleva essere anche e soprattutto un discorso sulla fotografia stessa, cercando di rendere gli spettatori attivi e, in qualche maniera, anche loro FOTOGRAFI.

mi è sembrato giusto quindi far fare un ritrattino (realizzato dal mio assistito giorgio serinelli) a tutti coloro che hanno non solo visto ma reso possibile che la mia mostra fosse vista.
in due giorni sono passate 360 persone
che potete vedere qui sopra o meglio qui[/it] [en] Final epilogue of my show AMNIOS, created more or less a month ago.
During it we also filmed a backstage which tells you how the installation was made at the gallery.
I am going to do again a quick epilogue for who wasn’t here or got lost along the way:
Nine photographs of a model that moves from darkness to light, placed in a room darkened by black sheets and in the dark. The guests where given a torch before entering to shine on my photographs, thus making them walk along the path of the model and at the same time the path of my photography, which reality itself is made to change from darkness to light.

Amongst other things I recently found out something which I really didn’t know: catholic churches are built most of the time towards west, in such a way that who enters goes through the darkness of the world (the west) to the light of the alter (the east). (excuse me for coming through as iconoclast…)

In short everything wanted to be also and above all a discourse on photography itself.
Trying to make the spectators interact and, in some ways, even them PHOTOGRAPHERS.

It therefore seemed to me only right to take a little portrait (created by my assistant giorgio serinelli) of everyone that has not only seen but made it possible for my exhibition to be seen.
In two days 360 people came to see the exhibition
