it has been a long time this thought has been hammering my mind, but this morning, while i was shaving, has taken in my mind the shape of an obsession.
it is not something people speak about often, hidden who knows by which strong power.
now the time has come to really say enough.

ok, here it is: i am convinced, like anybody else who analyzes it carefully, that in the ads – doesn’t matter if photos or videos – where any new marvellous bi/tri/quadro blade razor is shown, showing the fantastic potentials of the little object in question, the model has evidently already shaved. they want to make us believe that the model has a two/three days old beard?!?!
but who do they want to fool with this colossal bullshit???
it is time that this lie comes to an end. If we all get together it is possible to change things. Or at least they write at the bottom of the page “model already shaven”. or even use only models with bad beard.

tells about the love story, bizarre and controversial, between an old man and a young girl.
the old man, despite antique class and elegance, lives the sunset of his life in a squalid and very simple flat. the young girl instead not only she’s beautiful and young, but she also has money, she has the means to own and wear beautiful clothing.
despite appearances would suggest the opposite, they love each others and together they live a beautiful adventure.
in my photos i wanted to show both the objective reality of their life (while they were sad, distant and discouraged) and the subjective reality that binds them (picturing them with a polaroid while they are happy and complicit).
In the first case they never watch the camera, the camera doesn’t exist; in the second case they never watch the camera, they take pictures of each other.
i wanted to show in my photograph as others see their love and as they see themselves.

last night i went to “rolling stone” here in milan to watch cat power (alias chan marshall) in concert.
fuck! great concert!
the lady is pretty crazy, let’s tell the truth, she is furiously crazy, but she has an unusual energy, she manages to be very powerful and rock, even if she’s extremely delicate and melancholic.

i’m afraid i’ve got you and myself used to more interesting and glamorous trips than the one i took in the last two days: by car on the milan-venice highway.
when i travel like this i try to listen to the radio..
i say i try because i really try hard, i try with all my strength to listen to the radio, but i must admit it is hard … 99% per cent of the radio are total and absolute crap: speakers speaking while smiling listing the latest music hit telling absolute rubbish always only making comments on the news they read on the newspaper. what drives me insane is when they speak because they have a mouth, saying absolute nonsense, talking at the beginning of a song up to when the singer starts singing. in my opinion they even pride themselves of being able to do it well.
to hell them and their first hit in the list.
i must say of all empty radio, radio deejay is the only one pleasant to listen. One can listen to it for a while, but only a while.
others, unfortunately few, radio are worth to listen to.
-radio popolare, it’s a pity it doesn’t have a good coverage.
-radio 24, they talk, talk and talk, and sometimes they even say something clever.
-rai tre, the only really beautiful to listen. the one that works in the afternoon, i don’t remember his name, the program is called fahrenheit and he is a genius. he knows anything of any era of any topic. a prodigy of intelligence. it’s a pity that listening to radio tre while driving is worst, much worst than listening to radio london during the war, most of the time it is a weak sound coming and going.

one radio can always be heard everywhere. in tunnels, in remote countryside.. only one radio : radio maria.
i have to confess, after i’ve tried all i always end up listening to radio maria. where there is a gentlemen, who probably doesn’t know medieval age is over, and he speaks about evils, hell and so on and so on ….
i sincerely have to say that i enjoy listening to it, i cannot tell you why but it is true…
but after few hours, for one reason or the other, i’m fed up with tuning the radio, i switch it off and i blast some of my favourite music the way i like it.
