I like to read. unfortunately I do it less than I’d like to, but luckily I do it more often than the statistics say about italians: 12% of families do not have even one book in the house and 37% of the population above 6 years of age have not read even one book in the past year. well done!
a population that reads is surely a better population.
I don’t know if a person that reads is better, but has at least the privilege to see and know the world from a point of view that possesses a real quality: not your own point of view.
all of this, perhaps useless, rigmarole is a premise of a book I’ve just finished reading: THE GUGA HUNTERS.
I liked it a lot.
no, I don’t feel like it and I fear I am not able to write the review that it deserves. but when you find a book that is fun, scares, moves, excites, makes you discover new things (the guga!) and even makes you want to leave for scotland I think you just have to share it.
I’ve shared it, then you do what you have to…
