quello che invece mi tiene compagnia sono i libri.
anzi, debbo proprio dire che una delle cose che mi rende felice quando debbo partire per qualche lavoro è la possibilità di leggere, cosa che a milano mi è più difficile.
i primi giorni, forse già in aereo, ho finito “mare delle verità” di de carlo. diciamocelo, un bella cagata.
poi sono passato a “cuore di tenebra” di conrad. bello, soprattutto perchè mi ha fatto così precisamente ricordare il grandissimo “apocalypse now”
poi non so perchè ma all’aeroporto ho comprato e quindi letto “la scoperta dell’alba” di walter veltroni. molto carino. e bravo veltroni!
ho trovato all’interno di questo libro una citazione di calvino che mi piace e che mi sembra anche avere più senso letta dall’altra parte del mondo, dove sono io.
così scrive italo calvino: “lasciatemi così. ho fatto tutto il giro e ho capito. il mondo si legge all’incontario. adesso tutto è chiaro.”.
finito veltroni mi sono poi buttato sulle allegrissime pagine dell’allegrissimo cioran.
anche qui ho trovato delle righe che mi sembra siano perfettamente pertinenti a me e a queste quattro righette che ogni tanto butto giù su questa cosa che modernamente si chiama blog, ma che in altri tempi si sarebbe chiamata diario.

Actually I have to say that one of the things that make me happy when I have to leave for a job is the possibility to read, which I find very difficult in Milan. The first days, maybe already on the plane, I finished “Sea of Truths” by De Carlo.

Then I moved on to “Heart of Darkness” by Conrad. Beautiful, especially because it reminded me precisely the greatest “apocalypse now”

I found inside a citation by calvino that I like and that made more sense reading it on the other side of the world, where I am. So italo calvino writes: “leave me as I am. I went everywhere and understood. You read the world the wrong way round. Now everything is clear.”.
Done with veltroni I threw myself on the fun pages of the funny cioran. Even here I found some lines that are perfectly pertinent to me and to these few lines that I sometimes digit on this thing we call blog, but a while ago it would have been called a diary.
