Here I am, I am back from the workshop in Tuscany with TPW and it was an experience difficult to describe: it was marvelous and frightful, beautiful and most ugly, boring and whirling… and many other things together.
In one word I’d say that it has been most excellent. In it’s wider meaning: different from normal.
Above all these sophistries and mental wanks I seriously suggest to everyone to go for a week at the TPW, which I suspected before I went but now I am certain: it is the best, most organized and with the best teachers for “school” of photography of the world.
And speaking about teachers the pleasure of being with great photographers such as Antonin Kratochvil Andrea Pistolesi or Paul Elledge LINK finding out that, even though we are all different and far away also physically, deep inside we are all very similar.
And the pleasure of having Gabriele Rigon and Toni Thorimbert as special guests!
I am trying really hard but it is impossible to describe the atmosphere that surrounded us in the monastery, the unique space that accommodated us for a week.
I would like to thank publicly Carlo Roberti, the head of TPW: he’s the greatest.
Above here a little photo of mine taken with the iPhone.
Nothing else to add. Or maybe I have one thing: it looks an other photographer, but it is not, it is just an other model…
An update: on my MAX blog some of the works of the students… http://blog.max.rcs.it/max_casting/2009/08/tpw/
