BRATISLAVA & VARIE

============

Here I am, in my hotel room, trying to write these words with my iPhone: lets see if I can manage without making too much of a mess…

I was invited to Bratislava to head up a jury for a photographic competition which was sponsored by a prominent bank here in Slovakia. Extremely high quality of contestants and the winners where simply excellent. I can’t right now, but I promise I will post their work here soon.

It is truly cool that a bank takes interest in young artists and not only investments: well done!

I had two intense PR days!

During these days I’ve past the 4 million page views mark on my blog, since I’ve installed the statistics, so since 2005: thank you! And seeing we are talking about my blog I’d like to apologize if I almost never answer to your posts, which I constantly read with a lot of interest: I do feel like answering only when it is really necessary… (like how did I do the photographs of the wedding dresses in the underground?!?! I didn’t do anything! No permits, nothing at all!)

============

And to end on a good note I would like to bring to your attention (in an era full of workshops held by people that if they don’t know how to do how is it possible they are able to teach…) a REAL workshop: Mr. Toni Thorimbert will teach on the 9th and the 10th of April in Modena.

Here is the info:

And talking about Mr. TT a curious fact: Beatrice Libertino, in her blog, has made a “profile” about me.

I thank her very much.

But… uhmmm… but there is a fact that to show my work she has posted a few photographs… but… the first one she posted is not mine! But Thorimbert’s!

It is all a you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours situation (magna magna)

Ok,, I’d say that I’ve arrived at the end of this post made with my cellphone, I am not going to proof read it, I wonder how many mistakes, I have pins and needles in my arm so I am going to end it here.

I am going to leave you with a little photograph that I took last night in the alleys of the old Bratislava. Soundtrack is modì, by vinicius caposselius
