FOTOINCONTRI 2013

[it]sono molto legato a san felice sul panaro, deliziosa cittadina vicino a modena.

da un bel po’ di anni si svolge FOTOINCONTRI un bel festival di fotografia organizzato da veri appassionati di fotografia, al quale ebbi il piacere e l’onore di partecipare con una mostra (al buio!), che feci dentro al loro meraviglioso castello.

era il 2009, e quella fu l’ultima edizione, a causa soprattutto dei problemi economici nei quali si imbattono purtroppo quasi tutte le amministrazioni comunali e cittadine. l’anno scorso poi la vera mazzata, il terremoto, che ha fatto temere a tutti che quel bel festival sarebbe definitivamente morto e sepolto, insieme alle macerie del meraviglioso castello o della chiesa del paese. sono stato qualche settimana fa e sono rimasto…non saprei definire con parole…diciamo turbato, da quello che ho visto. questa è la chiesa del paese, io stavo camminando sopra quello che una volta era la navata:

 

non potete immaginare quindi la mia felicità quando qualche mese fa ho ricevuto la telefonata che mi annunciava che nel 2013, quest’anno, il festival si sarebbe di nuovo svolto! 🙂 non solo per fare il festival, ma soprattutto per gridare al mondo: SIAMO VIVI! che bello.

la felicità si è immediatamente affievolita quando mi è stato chiesto di fare il direttore artistico della cosa… non l’ho mai fatto, e non sono mica sicuro di avere il tempo e le capacità per farlo. ma per gli amici di san felice la parolina NO non esiste, esiste solo la parolina SI!

e quindi eccomi qui, a cercare di dare una mano per non solo fare un festival di fotografia, ma per fare il miglior festival di fotografia! per far urlare non solo SIAMO VIVI, ma anche E ABBIAMO UN SACCO DI ENERGIE!

per raggiungere questo risultato innanzitutto servivano i nomi: avremo il meglio del meglio della fotografia italiana. con infinito orgoglio questi i fotografi che parteciperanno a FOTOINCONTRI 2013 il 24-25 e 26 maggio, in rigoroso ordine alfabetico:

mi aiuterà e sarà mio braccio destro nell’organizzazione e nella gestione il fotografo e divulgatore di buona fotografia paolo ranzani.

rosanna trinchese e la renè olivier production si occuperanno del trucco/capelli e dello styling delle modelle.

il fotografo e presentatore davide mengacci ci aiuterà con le immagini e con le parole.

olè! 🙂 [/it] [en]I am very attached to san felice sul panaro, sweet little town near modena.

since a few years FOTOINCONTRI takes place, a beautiful photography festival organised by real lovers of photography, which I had the pleasure and honour to participate with an exhibition (in the dark!), I did inside their marvellous castle.

it was 2009, and that was the last edition, mainly because of the economic problems in which, unfortunately, almost all municipalities and towns administrations fall into. then last year the real blow, the earthquake, which made everyone fear that this beautiful festival would definitely be dead and buried, along with the ruins of the wonderful castle or the village church. I was there a few weeks ago and I was… for a lack of better words… left quite troubled, from what I saw. this is the village church, I was walking on top of what once was the nave:

 

 

 

 

 

 

so you can imagine my happiness when a few months ago I received the phone call that informed me that in 2013, this year, the festival would be held again! not only to have the festival, but above all to shout to the world: WE ARE ALIVE! how nice.

happiness immediately faded when I was asked to be the art director of the thing… I’ve never done it, and I am not sure I have the time nor the capacity to do so. but for the friends of san felice the little word NO does not exist, there is only the little word YES!

so here I am, trying to lend a hand not only to do a photographic festival, but to make the best photographic festival! to scream WE ARE ALIVE, also AND WE HAVE A LOT OF ENERGY!

in order to achieve this result before everything we needed names: we eill have the best of the best of italian photography. with endless pride these are the photographers that will participate in FOTOINCONTRI 2013 the 24th-25th and 26th of may, in a rigorous alphabetical order:

there will be exhibitions, workshops (which the proceeds will entirely go towards san felice), meetings and much more.

special guest the photographer and artist sara lando who will give a fantastic workshop for children.

photographer and disseminator of good photography paolo ranzani will be my right hand man who will help me in organising and managing the show.

rosanna trinchese and the renè olivier production will take care of the hair, make up and styling of the models.

the photographer and presenter davide mengacci will help us with the images and words.
